The starting point

In May 2025 the site was getting 3,717 organic clicks a month, with an average Google position of 20.9: most pages sat on page two, where very few searchers ever look.

Two other problems made growth hard to see, let alone manage:

  • Leads couldn't be traced. Enquiries arrived through web forms, but there was no reliable way to tell which channel or page had produced them, or which ones became customers.
  • Spam polluted the numbers. Form spam inflated lead counts and made reporting unreliable.

On top of that, the business was planning two large changes that can easily cost search traffic: moving the site from its Irish .ie domain to a .com, and launching a Spanish-language site.

What we did

A domain migration without losing ground

About 449 pages moved from .ie to .com. Every page was mapped to its new address with permanent redirects, and technical monitoring checked indexation, redirects, canonical tags and broken links daily throughout the move.

A 181-page Spanish launch

The Spanish site launched with 181 pages, set up with hreflang so Google shows each audience the right language version.

Clean leads and full attribution

We fixed form spam with reCAPTCHA v3 and rebuilt lead attribution in the CRM (Zoho), so every lead is tagged with its channel, source and landing page and followed through to the deal.

One reporting layer

Search Console, GA4, Google Ads and the CRM now feed a single data model through Make.com, with Looker Studio dashboards on top. Instead of assembling reports by hand, the team can see traffic, leads and deals in one place.

Tracking AI visibility

Citation tracking now covers 300+ pages, showing when AI engines such as Google's AI Overviews reference the site.

Results

Between May 2025 and September 2026:

  • Monthly organic clicks grew from 3,717 to 28,238, a 7.6x increase.
  • Average Google position improved from 20.9 to 5.9, from page two to the top of page one.
  • 1,211 leads, 186 MQLs and 55 closed-won deals were attributed to their channel and page.
  • About 449 pages were migrated to the new domain, and a 181-page Spanish site went live.

The systems behind this work are the same ones we now build and run for other teams.
