SEO agency for African businesses

Be found across Africa, by people and by AI.

We help safari operators, hotels, restaurants and tech companies show up where their customers search: Google, Maps, and the AI assistants travellers and buyers now ask first.

  • Hotels & Lodges
  • Restaurants

Who we work with

Built for the businesses that make Africa move

Every sector searches differently. We know what a traveller types before booking a game drive, and what a CTO asks an AI before choosing a vendor.

Local context matters. Search behaviour in Nairobi is not the same as in Dakar or Johannesburg. We plan for that.

What we'd do for a business like yours

Three worked examples: the problem we usually find, the 90-day plan, and what the numbers could look like.

Safari operator · Nairobi, Kenya

214 five-star reviews, and a website Google barely shows

Starting point

  • About 5 visits a month from Google
  • Google shows empty archive pages instead of the trips
  • Most bookings arrive through platforms that take commission

What we'd do in 90 days

  1. Hide archive and category pages from Google
  2. Rebuild Maasai Mara, Amboseli and Samburu safari pages with prices and days
  3. Put the 214 reviews on the trip pages
  4. Earn 10–15 links from guides and travel sites

≈ $3,000

The thinking behind it

With 214 five-star reviews, this business doesn't have a reputation problem. It has a visibility problem. The fastest win isn't new content: it's stopping Google from showing empty archive pages, so the trip pages that already exist can rank. Then route pages, each carrying the trust the reviews have already earned.

Assumes 1% of visits enquire, 30% of enquiries book, about $2,500 per traveller.

Boutique hotel · Cape Town, South Africa

Full in high season, but paying commission on almost every room

Starting point

  • About 40 visits a month from Google
  • Most bookings through online travel agencies
  • English-only site, though many guests are German and Dutch
  • No "book direct" link on the Google profile

What we'd do in 90 days

  1. Add a book-direct link and offer to the Google Business Profile
  2. Launch German and Dutch pages, set up correctly for each language
  3. Build room and location pages for the searches guests make
  4. Track every direct request from Google and WhatsApp

Commission kept per direct booking
15–20%

The thinking behind it

Every agency booking costs a slice of the room rate. The guests most likely to book direct are the ones who find the hotel on Google Maps, or who search in their own language. So the plan starts where intent is highest: a book-direct link on the Google profile, then German and Dutch pages for the markets already staying here.

Assumes 1% of visits send a direct request. Commission range is the typical online travel agency rate.

Restaurant · Lagos, Nigeria

Great food, but missing from the three places Google Maps shows

Starting point

  • About 20 calls, direction requests and website clicks a month from Maps
  • Not in the top 3 for "restaurant in Lekki"
  • Menu only as a photo on Instagram
  • No easy way to reserve by WhatsApp

What we'd do in 90 days

  1. Complete the Google profile: categories, hours, photos, menu link
  2. Put the menu on the website as text Google can read
  3. Add review cards to tables and a weekly photo post
  4. Add a WhatsApp reservation button and track it

The thinking behind it

Nobody searches for a restaurant's name before they've heard of it. They search "restaurant near me" and choose from the three places Google Maps shows. So everything here is about earning one of those spots: a complete profile, a menu Google can read, fresh photos and a steady flow of reviews.

Maps actions are calls, direction requests and website clicks, as reported in the Google Business Profile.

FAQ

Questions we often hear

Can't find your answer? Send us a message and we'll get back to you within one business day.

What is GEO, and do I need it?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) is the work of making your business easy for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews to understand, trust and recommend. If travellers or buyers ask AI for suggestions in your category, GEO helps you appear in those answers.

How long does SEO take to show results?

Technical fixes and Google Business Profile improvements often show movement within 4 to 8 weeks. Competitive organic rankings usually take 3 to 6 months. Ads can bring traffic from day one while SEO builds.

Which countries do you work in?

We work with businesses across Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Africa, Morocco and francophone West Africa, as well as international brands targeting African audiences.

How much do your services cost?

Pricing depends on scope, number of markets and languages. We start every engagement with a free audit and then send a clear monthly or project-based proposal, with no long lock-in contracts.

Do you build or redesign websites?

Yes. Our development team handles technical SEO fixes, speed optimisation and full rebuilds when a site is holding a business back.

Will I own my accounts and data?

Always. Your Google Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile and ad accounts stay in your name. We work with access you grant and you can revoke it at any time.
